Returns & Exchange Policy

At Bela, every garment is handcrafted using handspun, handwoven cotton and adorned with Lambadi embroidery. The beauty of these pieces lies in their uniqueness—no two garments are exactly alike, as each is shaped by the hands of skilled artisans.
We encourage our customers to appreciate the natural variations in fabric texture, weave, and embroidery, as they are a testament to the authenticity of handmade craft. Minor irregularities such as slight weave variations or embroidery inconsistencies are not defects but marks of hand-craftsmanship and will not be eligible for returns or refunds.


Returns & Refunds
We accept returns or exchanges only in the following cases:
✔ Wrong Size Sent – If we have sent you a size different from what you ordered.
✔ Product Damage – If the garment arrives damaged.
✔ Severe Colour Bleeding – Minor bleeding is natural for turmeric-dyed garments (as mentioned in the care instructions), but if the entire garment is compromised, we will accept a return.

Not Eligible for Returns
✖ Slight fabric irregularities – Handwoven fabrics may have natural texture variations.
✖ Embroidery variations – No two hand-embroidered pieces will be identical.
✖ Minor color bleeding – This is expected in naturally dyed garments like Haldi.
✖ General change of mind – Since each piece is made in limited batches, we do not offer returns for preference-based reasons.


Exchange & Refund Process
•If your garment qualifies for a return or exchange, please email us at studiobela.india@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos and a description of the issue.
•Once approved, we will arrange a pickup and either issue a refund or send a replacement based on availability.
•Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after receiving the returned item.
